Last weekend was our second annual trip to the Seattle Children's Theater. My friend, Ann and I have made it a tradition to take our kids out to dinner and a play once a year. Once a year, the Children's Theater does a play geared especially to 4-6 year olds and this year it was called Busytown and based on Richard Scarry's book pictured above. It was all about different occupations that make a town busy with silly songs and dances. It was so adorable and the kids loved it. It's so fun to enjoy a little "culture" here in our city. I think I enjoyed it as much as Joseph! Justin wasn't thrilled, but he did surprisingly well (thanks to the licorice I sneaked in).

Very cute pics! Looks like they had a blast! I'm sure it was great if it was based on a Richard Scarry book!
That looks like so much fun, I am jealous! It sounds like that play was perfect for Joseph, did Justin actually sit through it too?
Oh my gosh I bet Joseph LOVED that! It sounds like so much fun! I'm jealous too that there's so much fun stuff to do in Seattle!!!
That sounds like so much fun! That is such a cute picture of you and your boys!
What a good activity! Isn't it nice having a good friend that you can do fun things with?
So cute and the theater sounds so fun! I remember those Busy town books. Looks like you guys are doing great there!
That is so fun the Children's theatre puts on shows for different ages, great idea! We'll have to take advantage of that next time we're in Seattle. :-)
That is such a great idea, I wish I could have been a fly in the room watching Joseph, I bet he loved that. Hope he knows how lucky he is to have such a fun mom!
