So Sweet in the Suite

Go Mariners! Ok, so they're not having a good season (AGAIN), but wow are they fun to watch at Safeco Field! Darren's work invited the whole family to watch the game from a suite last weekend and it was such a great way to be there with little kids. There was lots of room to move around and walk around, there was yummy free food and a place inside to sit and watch the Jazz playoff game on the big screen. (They didn't win either, but it was great to be able to watch the last few exciting minutes!) Justin was such a trooper. He was up way past his bedtime and couldn't sleep with all the action. Check him out.

Joseph and the obligatory cotton candy. Can you see his blue teeth?

For the Beauty of the Earth

And this is just in my yard! I love springtime in Seattle.

Joseph is 4!

Isn't he a sweet little baby? I can't believe it's been 4 years.
We planned to tell Joseph his birthday was on Saturday the 10th instead of the 11th because we wanted to celebrate it on Saturday. So I was showing Joseph on the calendar how many days until his birthday and he says, "No Mommy, that's the 10 and my birthday is on the 11." Too smart for us! Lucky he didn't mind the truth since it meant presents a day early. We had a great day. We opened presents, went miniature golfing, went out to lunch and ate cupcakes. Check out some of the fun stuff he got.

Thanks for the great presents, family!

He walks!

While we're on the subject of Justin, guess what he did on Joseph's birthday? It was great. Darren and I were both there when Justin just decided to let go of the chair he was holding onto and walk to me. He was very pleased with himself. (Joseph's birthday pictures soon to come.)

This one's for Justin

My last few posts seem to be centered around Joseph. Now it's time to brag all about Justin. He's almost 11 months old now and he' been learning so much and getting into everything. Here are some pictures of some of his favorite things to do:
Pull all the books off the bookshelf
Empty the dishwasher
Eat rocks
Laugh with Joseph
Watching them laugh together just never gets old!
Justin is a stubborn little guy. He refuses to crawl. He does this hilarious bum scoot to get around the house. I predict that he'll walk before he crawls because he pulls himself up on everything and walks around all the furniture. He loves to have me walk him around the house and he just holds on with one hand now. He's also stubborn when it comes to food. He wants fruit and crackers and that's about it. Well, he does like peas and corn, but he'd eat an all-fruit diet if I let him. And he can really pack it away! If he puts something in his mouth that he doesn't like, he makes a face and spits until the offending food is all out. He's such a copy-cat already too! He copies everything that Joseph does: yelling, pointing things out, playing with cars on the couch, and when someone burps, Justin copies with his little growl. He's such a fun little baby. I wish he wouldn't grow so fast!
